It is with a sad heart that I announce that I will be closing NERO Wisconsin. This is due to a number of reasons; including the current state of the economy, my own personal life and future plans. I cannot continue to run the level of game that you have come to expect, and I want to provide, within the constraints of my current budget and the amount of current or new players that I receive at the events. With that said, Kelly and I want to thank all of the people that have helped make this chapter great over the years. Everyone who has helped by volunteering their time and effort as well as those that have donated the needed props and supplies that kept the game running. My Staff who worked hard at providing an excellent experience to all the players and helping everyone at the events, I couldn’t have ran the game with out them. I especially want to thank all those who have chosen to play my game, without your support I could have never had the success I did in the beginning. However, it has become increasingly difficult to run the game at a level that I feel is acceptable, for you, my players. It is you that made the game great and without you I would have had nothing. I am in the process of finding interested parties who wish to operate a game and would be willing to purchase my NERO license. I am able to offer someone a much better deal than they could get from purchasing a new license. If there is anyone interested please do not hesitate to contact me. I have tried over the last few months to work things out so that I could run some events this 2010 season but unfortunately things did not work out the way I had hoped. As my license is still valid I will continue to maintain and update character sheets in the National Database and will continue to do so until you ask to transfer to another chapter or the chapter is purchased by another party. I am still putting my efforts in to helping make NERO a great game by working with the National Staff and will still be here to assist anyone needing answers or just wanting to talk about the game. Again I want to thank all of you for being a part of NERO Wisconsin, and I wish you all the best in the future. Regards Bill Taylor NERO Wisconsin Owner |
